Finally, the myVGBC Podcast has returned for a sixth season!

Last week, I had the chance to speak to my first returning guest, Adam Stjärnljus. We were also joined by his co-founding partner at Wishfully, Klas M Eriksson. Together they co-directed both, Planet of Lana and now Planet of Lana II.

The Journey Continues

Back in 2023, I interviewed Adam about Planet of Lana. Last month the sequel, Planet of Lana II, arrived on consoles and PC. I’ve been playing on my Nintendo Switch 2. Both games feature stunning visuals, smooth gameplay, and many rewarding puzzles to solve. The sequel also brought along some new features.

Upon the release of the second game I realized that I had not yet finished the original Planet of Lana. I went back hours before starting the sequel to wrap up that final hour. I’m so happy I did return to the end of Planet of Lana, because the game finished strong with some big action sequences.

Throughout our chat we talked about some of the new additions to the sequel, the story, and what changed internally while working on Part II. I also got to talk to Klas this time about his role in both games — including creating the language the characters are speaking.

If you haven’t played Planet of Lana or Planet of Lana II, I would greatly recommend them. You should definitely start with the first game, they aren’t too long, but they are both very beautiful and so nice.
